Our Free Book Exchange Program has been wildly popular with book lovers in the DeKalb community.  Whether you are moving and want to donate some unwanted books or can't afford to buy new books, come to our store and browse our fast growing collection of paperback and hardcovers in different subjects.  And don't forget to bring in some books to trade.

Currently our Free Book Exchange Program allows members to trade among themselves on a one-to-one basis.  That means if you bring one book in, you can take one book out.  We accept all kinds of books (hardbacks, paperbacks, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks,  even textbooks) as long as they are interesting and in good condition.  We're happy to help you find good homes for your books; everyone hates a perfectly good book thrown in a dumpster.  But we're not a recycling business so please bring in books that you think other people would like to keep in their homes.  And we'll keep track of all the books you bring in and take out.  Members who donate a large number of books to the program (more than 100) may be able to receive some store credit in recognition of their contribution.

Stop by our store, grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit outside by the ivy-covered wall and read a book.

When I get a little money, I buy books. And if there is any left over, I buy food.

 Recently, we had a large donation of  sci-fi, thriller, mystery books by well-known authors, such as Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Michael Connelly, Stephen King, John Grisham, etc.  If you're a fan of these genres, you need to come in and check them out before they're all gone.  We know you'll be delighted.
